FAQ
Is Kitpip Disk free?
Yes, Kitpip Disk is free for personal, non-commercial use. Use at work, in a business or for any commercial purpose needs a Business license. Pro unlocks extra features and comes with a 14-day free trial.
Why does it ask to run as administrator?
Reading the NTFS Master File Table needs administrator rights. That is what makes full-drive scans take seconds. Without it, Kitpip Disk still works using a regular folder scan, which is slower.
Which Windows versions are supported?
Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit.
Does Kitpip Disk send my file list anywhere?
No. Scans stay on your computer. The app only contacts our server to check a license key when you activate Pro.
Windows SmartScreen warns me when I open it. Is it safe?
SmartScreen shows this for new apps that have not yet built up a download reputation. Click "More info" and then "Run anyway". We are working on code signing to remove this warning.
Is the license a subscription?
No. Personal Pro and Business licenses are one-time purchases.
